i started researching unity modding to add more enemies/modes to this game, ima have a page for it on my account soon

there are 3 main ways to beat the game

1. slowly chip at the enemies health like a masochist

2. roll the enemies hp to low numbers like a normal person

3. "I cast 13 damage 18 times for 1 point, then tank 9 damage and heal 12 back. Finally, I finish them with a 1-point 80 damage" (personally my favorite out of the 3)

this is really addicting

my luck is actually terrible
i literally rolled 1-3...

15 TIMES IN A ROW

no very balanced, but a very good concept. I love it so much!

Beat the final fight with a card that dealt 19 damage 16 times, it was super fun!

You should update it! I think it would be fun if there were a bigger variety of monsters and maybe different classes for different starting gear.

There is a big steam release coming soon named "diceomancer". basically a flashed out version of this.

hiii!
I love this game!! <3 1111/10
where can I find the source code for it? :3

loved it but it was har

came here to check if diceomancer is based on this, and it's so exciting to see that it is lol

Deserves a full game!

This was really fun, it took a while to fully realise all the things I could change and figure out a strategy from that. It's a bit luck-based naturally but I did feel smart when I eventually beat the last monster through a slow survival approach.

I really like it :-)

Had a lot of fun with this! The mechanics are great and it was good fun to figure out a good strategy for it. I would love to have more opponents to play for longer, but I understand how much work that would be to create :D

fine, i'll do it myself

(+1)

cute, this could have a really awesome post-jam update imo

Took me 3 days to beat the game, i should of slowed down!

(+2)

this would be awsome 1 vs 1

(+3)

I spent a while trying to improve my deck, only to finally win and find out it was the last level.

(+1)

got a 1 cost 17 attack, 18 times and 1-shotted the final boss

(+2)

Ended up a bit grindy and could use some more balancing, but fun core idea/gameplay for a jam!

I really enjoyed this game and I managed to beat it!

loved it. would love to see more enemies.

it's a lovely game but i"m so bad at it i couldn't go beyond the 4th enemy

This game is very fun with interesting mechanic. I would love to see how this game develops in the future.

A good strategy is to max every card, hp and set all action points to 1

my preferred strategy is to boost max health and healing with bigger dice, then max out 1-2 "deal x, x times" and proceed to decimate the final enemy in 15 seconds

(+1)

ha I got you molusk.
thanks for the game, loved it.

(+2)

Please turn this into a full game!

DICEOMANCER out now

i keep dying at horse because it keeps hitting me atleast 10 time also the first enemy always hits me twice im pretty sure that a glitch

love this game, would love to see a longer version with more levels and/or an endless mode

a really interesting concept! the luck-based gameplay sometimes frustrated me, but maybe with a level based structure the game can be very fun!

remember: if your strategy requires good luck to be sufficient, it's not a good enough strategy

I oneshot the final boss because I got a deal 19 damage 20 times and it has 99+99+99 hp💀

"hahahahh i have 99+99+99 HP, you can't stop me!"

"boi"

"what?"

"i cast 19x20 damage"

"AA-" *dies*

Amazing game! I had to cheat  all my dice (optimizing the values) in initial battles to kill the last enemy haha Wonderfull idea and very inspiring (especially in my case that I want to make a dice game since I played Dicey Dungeons)
